aIPAM
Allegiance Award
Purpose: The Allegiance Award is designed to
honor an individual who demonstrates dedication and excellence in Healthcare
Access Leadership and who has made a significant contribution to the field of Patient
Access. This individual must have made an impact within the field in providing
exceptional leadership and collaboration, transformational change, revenue
cycle improvements, or by creating and/or implementing a ?best practice?. Please be specific in describing how this
individual has provided exceptional leadership and is an advocate for the field
of Patient Access.
Distribution/Recognition: The award is given once a year at the fall conference. Nominations must be submitted by September 1st. The award recipient is recognized at the fall
conference and attends as an aIPAM guest with no registration fee.
Eligibility: The recipient must have a minimum of
three years of Access Services Leadership experience and must be a current
member of the association of Illinois Patient Access Management
aIPAM
Torch Award
Purpose: The Torch Award is designed to honor a
front-line staff member that is considered a champion in the field of Patient
Access. This individual must have made an impact within their organization to
promote change and/or elevate the profession of Patient Access. This can be
accomplished through providing ongoing excellent customer service, facilitation
of a major project, or mentoring future Patient Access professionals. Please be
specific in describing how this individual has elevated the profession of
front-line Patient Access.
Distribution/Recognition: The award is given once a year at the fall conference.
Nominations must be submitted by September 1st. The award recipient is recognized at the fall
conference and attends as an aIPAM guest with no registration fee.

years experience in Patient Access.
Advance clearance for the nominee to attend the conference should be
obtained from the nominee?s Manager

Scholarship Award
Purpose: The aIPAM Scholarship Award is designed
to provide access to aIPAM conferences to a front-line staff member that
demonstrates leadership within the field of Patient Access. Attending the conference provides educational
and networking opportunities.
Distribution/Recognition: The award is given once a year at the fall conference. Nominations for the fall must be submitted by
September 1st. The award recipient is recognized at the conference
and attends as an aIPAM guest with no registration fee.
Eligibility: The recipient must have a minimum of
three years experience in Patient Access and be a first time conference
attendee. The recipient is not currently
a member of aIPAM. Advance clearance for
the nominee to attend the conference should be obtained from the nominee?s
Manager.
